Founder’s Day 2020
‘God’s will always and everywhere’ was the mantra of our lodestar St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI Institutions. To commemorate the 150th Anniversary of his eternal reward , Kristu Jyoti Group of CMI institutions celebrated Founder’s Day at KJ Auditorium on 7th January 2020.
The celebration started with a prayer dance from KJVN. Our Director Rev. Fr. Martin Thayil CMI offered words of welcome . Rev. Dr. Sebastian Attichira CMI, Manager of KJ Group delivered the Presidential Address.
Rev. Fr. Joseph Vaniyapurackal, Vicar General, Archdiocese Changanacherry inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and reminded us to follow the legacy of St. Chavara. Rev. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI, Principal KCMT honoured the Guest.
Thereafter an extravaganza of cultural activities were performed by different sister institutions, wherein students were inspired to follow the man, who had a vision to create a better place to live in.
