Excellentia and Wilcuma 2022
Excellentia (Merit Award) and Wilcuma Juniors (Plus –one
Opening) 2022 was conducted on 2nd July 2022 (Saturday) in the
School Auditorium. His Excellency Gheevarghese Mar Aprem was
the chief guest. Our Manager Rev. Fr. Thomas Choolaparambil CMI
presided over the function.
The programme began at 10. 00 am following a colourful
procession. After the prayer dance by kumari Hridya Anilkumar &
party Mrs. Daly George, Faculty member Department of English
delivered the welcome speech. This was followed by presidential
address and Inaugural Address. During the inaugural ceremony,
chief guest, all Rev. Fathers and students lighted the lamp on the
stage. At the same time HSS coordinator Mr. Santhosh Thomas and
student representative of higher secondary section placed lighted
lamp below the dais infront of the statue of St. Chavara. The chief
guest was honoured by Rev. Fr. Philipose Thuncuvalichira CMI
(Principal, Kristu Jyoti Vidya Niketan & Kristu Jyoti Kindergarten
and Playschool). Rev. Father Chacko Manackal CMI (Bursar, Kristu
Jyoti Group) dedicated the new academic year, to the Sacred Heart
of Jesus. Feliciations were offered by Rev. Fr. Joshy Cheeramkuzhy
CMI (Principal, Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology)
and Mr. Joseph Thomas (former PTA President).
School Toppers Smrithi Maria Oommen (Biology Topper & School
Topper), B. Jayalakshmi (Computer Batch Toppers) and Recipients
of various Endowments were honoured by His Excellence
Gheevarghese Mar Aprem. Result Evaluation was presented
digitally by Mrs. Leena Dominic (Vice Principal, KJHSS) Mementos
to the meritorious students were distributed by Fr. Philipose
Thunduvalichira CMI, Fr. Chacko Manackal CMI. Mr. Sasikumar E.G.
(Headmaster L.P. Section) and Mr. Joseph Thomas (former PTA
president). The highlight of the function was the visual
presentation “An ode to the Alma mater”
Rev. Fr. Tomy Elavunkal CMI (Director K.J. Group & Principal KJHSS)
gave some general instructions to the plus one students. Kumari
Smriti Maria Oommen (School Topper) shared her experience in
the campus and expressed her gratitude to the Management and
Teachers of the Alma –mater. Kumari Jeslin Phlilp of class XI spoke
of her expectations. The programme ended with School Anthem.
